  • Local vineyards: Averill House Vineyard, Fulchino Vineyard, LaBelle Winery
  • Pickity place is a set course menu in the setting that inspired Little Red Riding Hood
  • Parker’s Maple Barn is a famous breakfast spot up the road
  • Midfield Cafe is a great diner at a local airstrip with views of the planes
  • Filho’s Cucino in Groton is an excellent casual italian spot (BYOB)

  • At the local Sunoco is a great coffee / breakfast sandwich spot called Yum Yum and it also has Val’s Pizza for subs and pizza

Outdoors things to do nearby:

  • Go to the town beach up the road with one of our complimentary day passes. A public boat launch is available there as well. Parking on the far side of the road and by the boat launch is public. Parking in the beach area can be done with one of our complimentary day passes.
  • Use our provided kayaks to go to Lake Potanipo
  • Hike mount monadnock – the most hiked mountain in the US! And if you really want a challenge, try the Marlboro trail – AWD required.
  • Trail network near the park
  • Apple picking / lavender picking
  • Go fishing in the pond on our property! Trout in spring, Blue gills, bass, pickrel year round

Gas and Fuel:

  • Recommend sunoco on rt 13 if you also need some supplies, plus they have good extended hours. Has diesel pumps.
  • Otherwise try Rt 13 service and repair for full service pumping at a great price at a friendly RV mechanic run business.
